Shoghakat, Hayrenik, ALM & TV5 channels were switched off at midnight of January 21, 2011 within the framework of the process of transition to digital broadcasting system in Armenia. According to experts this is a result of incorrect strategy of transition. Hundreds of employees of these channels lost their job this night.
