Photography competition seeks perspectives on the environment
International communications nonprofit CVolunteers is calling for creative photography on the theme "Diverse Perspective on the Environment, Citizenship and Volunteering." Deadline: March 7.
Schools and students are invited to share their work, with the goal of emphasizing how much civil society can contribute to good citizenship through volunteer activities and keen knowledge of environmental issues.
Winning photos will be shown in an International Photo Exhibition.
Last year's call -- under the theme "Environment, Citizenship and Volunteerism" -- garnered 350 pictures, showing views from 60 countries.
